The Tudor Barn: Rustic Wedding Charm

The Burnham Tudor Barn is the perfect wedding venue for couples who are looking for a classic, rustic setting for a mid-sized wedding in Buckinghamshire. The barn was built in the early 16th century and features six acres of grounds for you and your guests to enjoy a day to remember.

This venue provides you with two options: indoor and outdoor. The Tudor Barn features a Wedding Gazebo for couples who prefer an outdoor ceremony. The attractive, tasteful gazebo can be adorned with flowers, runners, a pedestal, or other meaningful items. Other ceremony options include the Garden Room for smaller civil ceremonies of 90 or fewer guests. The chic indoor banquet hall holds 130 guests for a wedding breakfast. Fifty more guests (for a total of 180) can be accommodated for a reception in the evening. The Tudor Barn features a full bar with contactless payment accommodations.

This venue accommodates 100 cars. With more than six acres of land, yours will be the only wedding party on-site at the Tudor Barn that day, so there’s no risk of experiencing the horror stories you hear about encountering other parties at a venue.

This is a venue you can truly make your own. Many couples have chosen to decorate the Barn with warm lighting and elegant white table cloths. The banquet hall also features a balcony that would be perfect for live music, recorded music, or another creative use of dual-level space. The combination of indoor and outdoor spaces create an air of authenticity that is not ostentatious or gaudy. Instead, the Barn is an elegant, polished backdrop for you and your beloved to celebrate with family and friends.

Booking the venue includes a variety of features aside from the space itself. These include barn hire, services of the wedding planning team, complimentary bride’s changing room, linen tablecloths, waitresses and bar staff, use of the PA system, a cake knife, a baby changing area, disabled facilities, and pre-booked special diets (diabetic, vegan, etc.) for no extra charge. Prices vary depending on whether you book for a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, and during what season your wedding happens. For 2019, prices range from £1,180 (Friday during the low season) to £2,970 (Sunday during the peak season). Check the Tudor Barn’s website for current prices.

The range of food options at Tudor Barn is geared to suit various budgets and desired cuisines. From canapés to buffets to evening finger food, this venue is ready to accommodate your palate. Specialities include Salmon en Croute, Tudor Barn Cumberland sausages, and Hog Roast with crackling, apple sauce, stuffing, and rolls.

Another benefit of this venue is its incredibly convenience, especially if you have guests travelling from far away. The M4, M40, M25 and Heathrow Airport are all easily accessible from this venue.

Old school charm is the undercurrent of this lovely and quaint barn venue. The staff has shown a commitment to working with you and your future spouse to make this venue work for you flawlessly. They’ve partnered with a range of vendors over the years and can give you recommendations about whom to work with.
