The King's Chapel Wedding, Amersham | Heni Fourie Photography

I had the wonderful pleasure of photographing the wedding of Nicola and Pete. The wedding ceremony took place at St Michael’s Church in Chenies, followed by a beautiful wedding reception at The King’s Chapel in Old Amersham – a quaint setting for a quintessential English wedding. Nicola and Pete chose a ski theme for their wedding. Nicola always loved the winter and snow, but it was Pete who introduced her to skiing. The couple now go on annual ski holidays and travel the world in pursuit of finding new heights to ski from.  The tables were named after places they have skied together, apart from the top table ‘Jackson Hole’, which is at the top of their bucket list. A very nice touch was the pair of skis left out for guests to sign. Nicola’s dress was designed by Suzanne Neville and Pete wore a Paul Smith suit. Debby from The Garden Room Flowers was responsible for the beautifully crafted flowers.

Thank you Nicola and Pete for asking me to photograph your special day, it was a pleasure working with you both. I loved every minute of it.
