Lillibrooke Manor & Barns
Congratulations! Getting engaged is such a fun experience. Now, it is time to pick your perfect wedding venue. Making this choice together as a couple can be a fun experience. If you have always dreamed of a barn wedding with plenty of beautiful outdoor space, you may want to consider Lillibrooke Manor and Barns – one of my top 4 favourite wedding barns.
Lillibrooke Manor and Barns is located in the Thames Valley. It is just two miles from Maidenhead train station and about a 40-minute drive from central London. The M4 and M25 both give visitors easy access to the venue.
Options are always important when planning a wedding. With Lillibrooke Manor and Barns, you have great indoor and outdoor options to make your day exactly the way you want.
The Great Barn
This Grade II Listed barn is great for large wedding parties. It has standing room for up to 200 people. It is a great option for your wedding ceremony or for a sit-down reception, both of which allow for up to 170 people. There is space for a band or DJ while also providing plenty of dancing room. The beautiful beams and gorgeous chandeliers provide a picturesque setting for your wedding or reception.
The Small Barn is the most popular civil ceremony option, but it also works well for a reception. With room for up to 120 people, the huge windows let natural light in. The interior feels a bit like a small country church.
The Engine House is great for adding extra room to your celebration or for hosting a smaller, more intimate ceremony. It has space for up to 80 people. It is connected to the Great Barn, and when combined with the Great Barn, the Engine House’s hexagonal space can be used as a place for your guests to relax away from the dance floor.
The Cloister Garden
This is one of the few places in Berkshire licensed for outdoor wedding ceremonies. When the weather is good, the beautiful fountain and sweet scent of flowers provide a wonderful setting for your ceremony, reception, or both.
Catering services are provided by the Heritage team who have more than 30 years of experience creating great food for weddings and other special events. They will work with you to help you create the perfect menu for your wedding day. They will also provide high-quality tableware.
It is always best to work with vendors who are familiar with a venue. You can find a list of preferred vendors for Lillibrooke Manor and Barns on their website. The list includes services such as lighting and sound, bands, florists, taxi services, and wedding cakes. One of the great things about their list of preferred vendors is that for most services, they provide several options. You can pick a vendor that fits well with your style and who knows the venue well.
As a wedding photographer, one of my top priorities when suggesting a venue is whether the venue provides the opportunity for great photographs. With 15 acres of land, there are so many great outdoor photo opportunities at this venue. From the beautiful garden to the gorgeous tree-lined walkways and stunning brick exterior of the barns, your outdoor wedding photos are sure to impress. Your indoor photos will also look so wonderful. The barns’ gorgeous wooden beams and beautiful exposed brick eliminate the need for almost any added decorations.
I have been a wedding photographer at this venue, and I can attest to its beauty. If you haven’t already, be sure to take a look at some photos I took for a Lillibrooke Manor wedding.
