Notley Farm, Long Crendon – Spring Wedding
I am extremely thrilled to be sharing this photography project from a wedding I photographed at Notley Thythe Barn in Long Crendon in Buckinghamshire. Corinna and Andrew chose to get married at the rustic barn, set within the grounds of the Notley Farm and located in the Aylesbury Vale district of Buckinghamshire. The site benefits from quintessential English countryside views one would expect from a rural location such as this.
Few venues ooze such charm as a 12th-century barn. The Notley Thythe barn was restored in 1991 and boasts an impressive beam rafted roof. The original features creates an elegant space with a nod to the past when this barn was the centre of celebrations during the annual harvest.
Their wedding was on a cold and windy day in March but the barn offered a cosy haven away from the blistering winds outside. The couple did not shy away from the weather and we managed to get some fun photos outside – proof that beautiful wedding photos does not solely depend on a sunny summer’s day.
The main hall was decorated with life-sized blossom trees for centrepieces and endless fairy lights, creating a magical space for Corinna’s and Andrew’s dream wedding.
Notley Barn is truly a great choice for any wedding and I hope I will have many more opportunities to photographs weddings at this beautiful venue.
