The Crowne at Pishill Wedding, Henley-on-Thames

Catriona & Joss chose The Crowne at Pishill in Henley-on-Thames as their wedding venue. The quaint buildings and old barn made for the perfect English countryside wedding. Catriona’s handcrafted wedding details complimented the rustic space. She created intricate roses from vintage maps and made buttonholes, bouqets and centrepieces. This was a fun wedding, designed to be inclusive and entertaining for everyone who came. There was plenty of garden games and comfy seating for guests to enjoy the warm weather. During the banquet there was wedding bingo and instead of a first dance the couple opted for ceilidh dancing. Congratulations Catriona and Joss on a beautiful and memorable wedding day. It was such an honor to photograph your day. May you have a long and happy life together..
My Five Favourite Photos
To start the blog I have included my five favourite photos from this wedding. I just adore the couple shots – they are so happy and relaxed, clearly a match made in heaven. I also love the bridesmaids’ expressions in the reveal photo...
Bridal Preparations
Catriona got ready with her bridesmaids in the cottage at The Crowne. It was an intimate space located next to the old barn where the ceremony took place.
The Ceremony
The Ceremony took place in the Old Barn with it’s exposed beams and original rustic features.
The Reception
The Old Barn was set-up for the wedding banquet complete with handmade centrepieces and DIY details.
Fun, Games and Ceilidh Dancing
The couple transformed the garden into a comfortable oasis of seating and games. They kicked off the evening with ceilidh dancing rather than a first dance. It was clear to see that every single guest enjoyed the evening to the full.
